Architectural Design and Planning

Need more space but don't want to move? Whether you are looking at a small extension or building a new house and wish to explore potential without employing an Architect, we can offer a range of services from a basic survey and consultation through Planning and Building Regulations approval.

Consultation

All you need is to know what you want out of the changes. The initial consultation is free and could unlock the potential in your property.

Survey & Design

On instruction, we will need to complete a full survey before drafting up the proposed designs, based on our initial consultation.

Planning & Building Regulations

Before any work can commence on your property, planning approval must be granted by your local council. For this we create and submit drawings and application forms on your behalf to the local office for approval.

Following planning approval the next stage is a further submission to the planning office to gain Building Regulations Approval. These are the working drawings which your builder will need to provide a quotation for the works.

History

My original career started in an Architects office, a natural continuation of my favourite subject at school - Graphical Communication.

Following a long break but a successful career in the telecommunications sector,, I was fortunate enough to return to property in the form of minor renovations and developments. A realisation that property was where my heart was led to a jump back into something I really enjoy whilst building a business to be proud of.

Of course the architectural design has now moved onto Computer Aided Design (CAD) which was a steep learning curve in itself for one used to pencil and paper. Today I produce CAD plans for my own developments as well as offering an architectural design service for people wishing to apply for planning and building regulations approval for either new homes, conversion or just extensions to existing properties.
